Since its settlement in the late 18th Century by hundreds of Highlanders from Invernesshire, there has been a strong tradition of piping in Glengarry County, and surrounding regions. One of the earliest direct references to piping in the region is from 1792, when Col Grey was entertaining John Graves Simcoe at Lancaster, pipers in fine Highland garb piped them to shore.
Our mission is to preserve the past, and promote the future of piping in Glengarry and Eastern Ontario. We are committed to providing educational opportunities and engaging programming that encourages a deeper understanding and appreciation of our past.
